everis to host the semi-finals of the NTT DATA global start-ups competition in Madrid, Barcelona and São Paulo

everis will coordinate three of the ten semi-finals in the fifth edition of the Open Innovation Business Contest for start-ups to attract start-ups ideas that promote business collaboration, organised by its parent company, NTT DATA. For the first time, the competition will take place outside of Japan, in ten cities around the world where any start-up company may submit business proposals until 19 December in sectors such as Fintech, IoT (Internet of Things), energy, insurance, big data, digital marketing, blockchain, API, personal data, artificial intelligence, cyber security, virtual/augmented reality and robotics.

everis, as an NTT DATA Group company, is responsible for selecting the projects in Brazil and Spain, where it will hold two selection events: one in Madrid and one in Barcelona, ​​during the month of February. Tokyo, Tel Aviv, San Francisco, London, Toronto, Singapore and Beijing will host the other semi-finals, to be held during February, in which the finalists of the Open Innovation Business Contest will be determined. The winner of each semi-final will attend the grand final in Tokyo in March 2017 and the winner will receive three months of advice worth $30,000 to support the development of the proposed activity.
