everis Aerospace and Defense and NTT DATA took part in an event on managing air traffic of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), organised by EUROCONTROL in Brussels.
The two-day workshop focused on the need to create a unified methodology for managing operations using this type of device at altitudes below 500 feet (roughly 150 metres).
More specifically, both companies, which attended the event as speakers, presented the Airpalette UTM web solution. This solution is designed to manage air traffic at low altitudes, with a unique focus on operations safety and its open, modular design.
During the event, everis Aerospace and Defense also took the opportunity to showcase its catalogue of products for the RPAS sector, including the Atlantic and Tucan aircraft and the Veronte Autopilot system, developed by companies within the group.
