everis was recognised with Cloudera’s ‘Rising Star Award’ during the Cloudera Global Summit in New York on September 11th.

Cloudera is a well-known platform for machine learning and analytics, optimised for the cloud. The company itself was awarded the Microsoft 2018 Global Partner of the Year – Open Source Data and IA Award. Honouring Cloudera for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft Technology.

The Cloudera platform enables companies like everis to help large enterprises get maximum value from their data through extracting actionable insights from massive amounts of data. A key requirement for companies competing in today’s data economy.

The ‘Rising Star Award’ celebrates a partner who joined in the past year and who has the best potential in strengthening the joint customer base with Cloudera. Part of the Business Excellence Awards, partners are selected based on substantial growth in their customer base and/or revenue, through driving customer impact and satisfaction with Cloudera.

In Europe and Latin America, everis is now one of the companies with the highest number of certified professionals in the Cloudera technology. These skills and knowledge mean that everis works successfully with its clients to develop valuable processes of integration.

“everis’ recognised experience in the renewal and development of corporate information systems [combined] with Cloudera’s strategy as a technological axis for transformation, offers a joint alternative of great value; maximising the probability of success, while reducing development time of complex projects. This alliance is allowing both companies to visualise a very promising future.” said David Sanz, head of Data & Analytics at everis when he picked up the prize.
